An original Uli Ehret watercolour signed by the artist
Mercedes Benz factory driver Richard Seaman (Dick) became one of the most revered of all the pre war Silver Arrows drivers. his crowning glory was undoubtedly winning the 1938 German Grand Prix when, aged Just 25, he beat established team mates Herman Lang and Manfred Von Brauchitsch at the fearsome Nurburgring. 11 months later, and with war in Europe looming, he was tragically killed at Spa Francorchamps.
it is said that Mercedes still lay flowers regularly at his grave.
